Terms of Use

Welcome to BookMyPuja. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BookMyPuja mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by BookMyPuja ("we", "our", or "us").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
3. Use of the Service
BookMyPuja provides a platform that connects users ("Devotees") with temples, priests, and pandits ("Service Providers") for booking puja and related religious services.
3.1 You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Provide accurate booking information
- Treat Service Providers with respect and courtesy
3.2 You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
4. Bookings and Payments
4.1 Bookings
When you make a booking through the Service, you enter into an arrangement with the respective Service Provider. BookMyPuja acts as an intermediary platform and is not a party to the puja service itself.
4.2 Payments
- All payments are processed through our third-party payment partner, Razorpay.
- Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable platform fees unless stated otherwise.
- You agree to pay the full amount at the time of booking unless the Service Provider offers alternative arrangements.
4.3 Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation and refund policies may vary by Service Provider.
- Refund timelines depend on the payment method and Razorpay's processing schedule.
- BookMyPuja reserves the right to charge a platform fee that may be non-refundable.
5. Service Providers
Service Providers (temples, priests, and pandits) are independent entities and not employees or agents of BookMyPuja. We do not guarantee:
- The quality, accuracy, or suitability of any puja service
- The availability of any specific Service Provider
- The outcomes or spiritual results of any puja performed
We strive to verify Service Providers on our platform, but we are not liable for their actions, omissions, or the services they provide.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, designs, and software associated with the Service are the property of BookMyPuja or its licensors. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission
- Use the BookMyPuja name or logo without authorization
- Create derivative works based on the Service
7. User Content
If you submit content (reviews, photos, feedback) through the Service:
- You retain ownership of your content
- You grant BookMyPuja a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service
- You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- BookMyPuja is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- BookMyPuja shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BookMyPuja, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
10. Termination
- You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting us.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as Limitation of Liability and Indemnification) will remain in effect.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
